Solar Cooling-absorption chiller QAbs4500 (LiBr+H2O)

 

The solar cooling is an application that can optimize the use of the solar thermal energy and make it possible to enable solar energy provide full solution to household: Domestic hot water, solar heating and solar cooling.

The absorption chiller works on the basis of the following physics principles:

1. Generators:driven by solar heated water, LiBr+water solution evaporate (water), the solubility of LiBr increase and get into Absorber;

2. Condenser: the steam (after evaporated) enters the condenser and becomes liquid again.

 3. Evaporator: through throttle valve, water flows from condenser to the evaporator. under the condition of low pressure, water evaporate and absorb heat which generate cooling effect;
4.Absorber: the lower temperature steam flows from evaporator into Absorber, the high concentration LiBr solution absorbs steam(H2O) and the solubility get lower, and then pump back to Generator to repeat the circulation.

Absorption chiller Qabs4500 generate chilled water to cool down space, which is driven by 90C hot water gained from solar energy via evacuated solar collector.
